An experienced designer in Textiles and experience in art and design. And currently seeking a full time position.

Constantly having an eye out on what is current in both art and design world.

Previous work shows a strong passion for new materials, experimentation and colour. With the direction towards combining different hard and soft materials to create new surfaces.

Showcased work at New Designers 2018
MoOD Brussels in September 2018

Mary Katrantzou - Embroidery Assistant (2017 April - June) internship

  • Worked in the embroidery department for Resort 2018.

  •  Also went fabric sourcing, running errands as well as worked across the quality checking, pattern cutting and digital print department.

  •  Aided in embroidering garments that were featured in the Creatures and Creations exhibition. 

  • In addition worked on the beading in the accessories department for Havaianas collaboration for a charity auction.

Cornelia Parker - Studio Assistant (2017 March - April) internship

  • Helped with archiving all past work. 

  • Also was witness to the creative process of taking pictures for Cornelia's role as Politician Artist through staying with her through my year out because of being a family relative. 

  • Also ran an open gallery event, welcoming guests, ordering and serving food as well as attending to clients.

Harcourt Leather –Upholstering Assistant (2017 January – March) internship

  • Quality checking leather hides

  • Organising stock 

  • Helped to upholster tables, mirrors, large wall panels for hotel’s and sections of a yacht.

  • Worked off site to fit finished upholstered furniture

  • Used skiver and cutting machine

Laura Ford and Andrew Sabin Perren Street Studios (2016 September - December)

  • Helped in construction of sculptures through hand stitching wading around skeletal armatures, and jesmonite to create the foundations

  • Creating costumes through machine and hand embroidery using a wide range of materials

  • Involved in helping to create her sculptures for the Cardiff Contemporary

Suzie Turner Couture– Embroidery Assistant (2016August-September) internship

  • Hand Embroidery and Embellishment Placement

  • Hand embroidery labels

  • Hand stitching Swarovski crystal beads on chantilly lace

  • Running errands and answering the door

  • Keeping the studio clean and organised

  • Helping prepare the fashion show at The Savoy Hotel

  • Dressed the models in the show

  • Loughborough University BA Textiles: Innovation and Design (2014-2018) First Class Honours

  • Newcastle- under-Lyme College BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Level 3/4 with Distinction (2013-2014) 

  • BTEC Diploma in Art and Design with Distinction* Distinction and English A Level Grade D (2010-2013)

  • Achieved 8 GCSE’s from A* to C, including Maths and English (2005-2010)
